W G Walker & Co have a reputation for innovation, skilled craftsmanship and reliability which has been established for nearly two centuries in business.
The company's early pioneering work led to the invention of a new method of surfacing roads and pavements using 'tar-macadam', laying part of Gordon Street and Buchanan Street in Glasgow and roads throughout Scotland with this new system.
Today, W G Walker & Co still offer their customers the highest quality of service. During recent years the company have added a number of new services to the range offered.

Combined Projects
All divisions within the W G Walker group can operate either individually or in combined roles on all types of projects to suit client requirements.
The close liaison of divisions coupled with strong management skills ensure that projects are completed to the highest quality and in the timescale required.
Investing in the future
In 2007 W G Walker moved into new purpose built premises, investing in IT, plant and equipment. Staff and employee training is an integral part of the ongoing development of the company.
In 2008 W G Walker was presented with the oldest trading roofing contractor award in Scotland at the NFRC awards.
The company has achieved ISO:9001 and are currently working towards the ISO:14001 Environmental Quality Assurance Certificate.
